Health (In)equity in Clinical Trials

Clinical trials evaluate the outcomes of medical interventions. However, The same disease may manifest differently in different people. What is the state of current clinical trials practices in terms of diversity and inclusion? Is clinical research appropriately including racial, ethnic, sexual, and gender minorities or socioeconomically disadvantaged populations? Join AWIS-PHL for a panel discussion on this very important topic.

You may submit any questions you would like to ask the panel to programs@awisphl.org prior to the event. You will also be able to ask questions during the program.
